Hermosa School Back to School Open House is on Wednesday, August 20th, from 3:00-5:00. Meet your teacher, see your classroom, and bring your school supplies. Families can also add money to their breakfast/lunch accounts. At 5:00, Hollie Strand will present her Digital Safety presentation. We highly recommend that all parents and guardians attend this event to help keep your child safe in this digital world. Hermosa staff will be available to supervise students during the presentation.

The season kicks off Monday, August 25th!
The first day of practice will be Monday, August 25th right after school until 5:00 PM. A mandatory parent meeting will follow at 5:00 PM.
All athletes need a current sports physical turned in to the office before they can participate in practice. Physicals are available free of charge at Monument Health locations and at Southern Hills Family Medicine in Custer.

Hermosa Open Gym this week, Wednesday & Thursday, 8-10 in the old gym only. Enter up the stairs through the gym doors on 4th street.

Monument Health is offering free sports physicals for student-athletes in the Black Hills. These physicals are a convenient way to ensure young athletes are healthy and ready for the upcoming season, meeting all state and school activity requirements.

Monument is offering a mass event for physicals on July 19 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Monument Health Orthopedic Hospital on Hwy. 44.
Coach Lowe will be hosting open gym and the weight room at Hermosa School on Tues & Thurs from 8-10 am. CSD students in grades 4-12 are welcome to come lift and practice basketball or volleyball. Enter through the activities entrance.

Reminder, Hermosa Jr. Kindergarten and Kindergarten do not have school on Tuesday, April 15th & Wednesday, April 16th due to Readiness Round-up. Spring Break for all students begins Thursday, April 17th, through Monday, April 21st.
