The Custer school district will have a two hour late start Wednesday, February 19. We are expecting extreme cold temperatures/windchill. No breakfast will be served.
Due to the forecasted cold and windchills tonight, the boy's basketball game vs Hot Springs is canceled. There will be no boy's basketball practice or cheer club practice tonight, February 18th.
Due to the weather, there will be no Hermosa Boy's Basketball or Cheer Club practice after school today, February 17, 2025.
The Hermosa School Music Department has cookbooks for a suggested donation of $10. Funds will be used to purchase microphones, props, set supplies, costumes, and other needs for their upcoming performance of Beauty and the Beast Jr. To donate, please contact Ms. Hansen or the school office for more information.

A reminder that tomorrow, February 13th is our Hermosa School Beef Celebration Lunch. This is to thank the local ranchers who have donated beef to the school lunch program and for their generosity that has helped support Hermosa School and the Custer School District. Mrs. Frieden's "Fiber Arts" exploratory class has been taught different techniques such as knitting and crocheting to make scarves over the past 9-weeks. Today they took their scarves into Rapid City and placed them on the presidential statues for those who are less fortunate and need to stay warm during the winter. Such a great class and a great giving project!
