On Thursday, November 21st, the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students will be heading to Custer High to listen to guest speaker Mike Donahue. Thank you to all Veterans! Hermosa School appreciates your dedication to this great country! We kicked off the morning by celebrating Veterans Day with members of the Post 303 American Legion Color Guard, Zayleigh and Marin singing the National Anthem, and Will playing Taps on his trumpet. A group from the South Dakota Department of Education visited the Hermosa School today.
Red Ribbon Week continues today with Wear Red Day!
Join us for our Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 31 from 2:45-3:15 in the parking lot. Students can dress in their costumes. Please no inflatable costumes, face paint, masks, or gore.

Ms. Cook's preschool class spent part of the day on a fun and educational visit to the pumpkin patch. The kids enjoyed checking out the pumpkins, exploring the farm, and learning about the fall harvest season. It was a hands-on experience filled with smiles and seasonal joy as they learned about different kinds of pumpkins, gourds, and the work that goes into farming.
